I agree with Chris, it was a great learning experience creating materials for our target population. It was really helpful being able to show them to the kids and get their opinions on how to improve our flyers. They are definitely not afraid to tell us what they think!

All the group's presentations were really entertaining, especially watching the different videos created for each health topic. It was interesting to learn that many of the videos/ flyers/ etc were able to emotionally affect members of the target population, yet influencing actual change in behavior was a completely different story. It will be exciting to see the modifications that are made to everyone's media materials for the final project!

In regards to the nonprofit/ for profit partnerships between organizations, I agree with Lanny, that they can be very beneficial, esp when consumers trust an organization such as the NCI. It's unfortunate however, when this trust is taken advantage of by misleading information.
