I agree with both Lanny and Katya. I don't feel like there is too much to talk about this week. The readings were straight forward and pretty clear. Nothing thought provoking, but easily understood.
And as Lanny mentioned, there was not a lecture this week. The presentation on humor was well done. She did a good job of differentiating the different ways that it can be used in communication and how it can also offend certain populations so whoever is using it needs to do so in a specific way.
The group presentations were interesting. It was nice to see how the other groups were approaching their topics. I thought the bone marrow group was interesting as they really did a good job of applying their topic to the class and teaching us that there are ways to donate marrow without the pain that we all have associated with it for so long.
I guess that's it for this week...til next time.
